board photoThe Texas Brazos Trail is managed by a 9-member board of directors.   The board meets every other month to make discuss the progress of the program and to make decisions regarding the operation of the program which will further the regional work plan goals and objectives.

Board members represent various counties in the region, and we try to have as diverse a group as possible.  Current board members work at Chambers of Commerce, EDCs, Museums, County Historical Commissions etc.   However, anyone involved in the tourism industry, or is interested in historic preservation or economic development are welcome to apply.  Typically, board members are expected to be able to devote 10 hours a month to board projects.   This could include emails, phone calls, driving to meetings, attending a task force meeting etc.  This is a working, volunteer board.

If you are interested in applying to be on the Board of Directors, we recommend that you attend a few meetings first, so you can get a feel for how the Board operates.
